Guadalajara, Mexico, 2017
The ALAS scholarship provides a supportive financial package to students seeking to enroll in Clayton State University’s service learning program in Guadalajara, Mexico. Once recipients are chosen, scholarship funds will be mailed to the students by May, 2017.
The ALAS scholarship is open to undergraduate students aged 18 and older currently enrolled at a school in the University System of Georgia.

ALAS scholarship recipients are chosen based on a combination of three primary criteria:
1. Academic performance
2. Personal and career goals
3. Interest in Spanish language and Latin American culture
Officially established in 2010 as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, the Atlanta-Latin America Scholarship (ALAS) is dedicated to providing scholarship funding and promoting educational opportunities for students in the United States looking to study, live, work and immerse themselves in a foreign country.
